Lester J. Werner Jr. December 28, 1946 – January 5, 2019 Lester “L.J.” Joseph Werner Jr., 72, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, in Pearl River. He was preceded in death by his parents: Myrtle Fairchild Serpas Werner and Lester J. Werner; a brother: Ernest J. Serpas Jr.; and a nephew: Ernest J. Serpas III. He is survived by former wife and friend, Bonnie Eisler Werner; sister-in-law: Barbara Marcade (John); brother-in-law Raymond Eisler (Aleta); nieces, nephews, and one great-niece.

Mr. Werner was a member of the 39’s 40’s Club, the Coastal Cruisers, Deep South Chapter of the Antique MotorCycle Club of America, and St. Bernard Rod Knockers. He was a 1965 graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School in New Orleans. Born: December 28, 1946 Death: January 5, 2019 Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell, Louisiana.

Visitation will begin at 11:00am, followed by memorial services at 1:00pm.
