He was born on August 15, 1955 in Buchanan, Georgia. He was the son of the late Anderson and Geneva Beatenbough Martin.

Mr. Martin was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Theresa Green Martin; and sister, Mattie Williams. In keeping with Mr. Martin’s wishes he was cremated.
