Lewis B. Leidy, 89, Johnstown, died December 28, 2018 at Allegheny Lutheran Home. Born May 3, 1929 in Johnstown, son of the late Ira T. and Elsie F. (Keiper) Leidy. Also preceded in death by brother Roy and sisters Fern and Edna.

Survived by wife Vera K. (Readman); children, Doris Leidy, Craig Leidy and Kimberly Leidy; step children, Terry (Christina) Rose and Kevin Rose, beloved niece LaRue and husband Harvey Holsopple, two grand daughters and four great grandchildren. He was a member of Vinco Brethren Church where he was a trustee for many years. He was also a member of the Lions club.

Navy Veteran of the WWII era. Former employee of Bethlehem Steel and Conemaugh Blacklick Railroad until he became self employed. He formed Leidy Construction and is known for remodeling many homes throughout the area.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home and the staff at Interim Hospice for the care they provided. There will be no viewing and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
