Obituary for Lien Thi Dao Lien Thi Dao, age 77, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Can Duy Vu. Mrs. Dao was born in Manh Chu, Ha Nam, Viet Nam on August 15, 1940, daughter of the late Mr. Kim Dao and Mrs. Hien Thi Nguyen.

Lien lived for her family. They were her “joys”. She loved to cook traditional Vietnamese cuisine, entertain family and friends and travel back home to Vietnam to celebrate Lunar New Year.

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind son – Co Duy Vu (wife, Han Vu and grandchildren Thomas, Tyler, Tia and Adam) of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter-in-law Donna Vu and grandchildren Brooke and Lance of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter – Thuy Vu LaPointe (husband, Jeremy LaPointe and twin grandsons Mathew and Patrick) of Tacoma WA; son – Can Duy Vu; daughter – Chung Vu; and son – Tuan Vu of Myrtle Beach, SC. Mass and Wake services will be held on Friday 8, 2018, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the chapel of the Goldfinch Funeral Home, 11528 Highway 17 Bypass Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. There will be visitation with the family and prayer on Sunday, June 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Chung’s home at 5012 Capulet Circle Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Saint Michael Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Lien Thi Dao please visit our Sympathy Store.
