Lila Doolittle Craven Langley, 91, resident of 3925 Harless Street, widow of James Marion Langley, passed away July 19, 2018, at the home of her son, Nathan Craven, 218 Old Woodlawn Road. Born July 9, 1927, in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Lottie Mae Butler Doolittle. She was retired from the Grendel Plant of Abney Mills.

She was of the Church of God faith. She was twice married, first to the late Dean Craven. Surviving are three sons, Roger Craven, Mike Craven… Read More » and Nathan and wife Sherry Craven, all of Greenwood; two grandsons, Roger Craven, Jr. and Nathan Craven, Jr and wife Cintia; nine great-grandchildren, including her heart, Lucas Nathan Craven.

She was predeceased by a son, Anthony Douglas Craven and a brother, Leroy Doolittle. Services for Mrs. Langley were conducted Friday at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Rev. C.B. Turner officiating.

The family members are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 690 Bypass 72 NW, Suite B, Greenwood, SC 29649. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Brenda Darragh Minor and to a special friend, Sherry Pruitt for all their kindnesses and affection during Mrs. Langley’s illness.
