Obituary for Mrs. Lillian C. Wright Mrs. Lillian C. Wright, age 86, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, under the care and comfort of her family. Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 305 Maple Street in Fayetteville, TN with burial to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.

Brother Timothy Wright will eulogize. The family will receive visitors 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel and again 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. ON Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

She was born February 7, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late Walter and Dolly Dyer Buchanan. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Lincoln Care Center where she was a devoted caregiver.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Wright; infant son, Paul Wright; three brothers, Isiah Buchanan, Ernest Buchanan, and Walter “Bubba” Buchanan; and three sisters, Betty Buchanan, Annie Laura Knott, and Margaret Bright Davis, and a granddaughter, Amelia (Mychal) Toney. She is survived by six children: George Curtis (Anita) Wright, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard (Glenda) Wright, of Fayetteville, TN Timothy (Yolanda) Wright, of Fayetteville, TN, Wanda Faye (Harold) Tate, of Fayetteville, TN, Mary (Ronald) Shaw, of Rockvale, TN, Lori (Wallace) Vance, of Fayetteville, TN, and Paulette Gross (Eric) Harrison, of Shelbyville, TN; thirteen grandchildren: Tamieka Tate, Harold Andrew (Tonya) Tate, Shaniqua Tate, Kelsey Lauren Wright, Markeita (Nicholas) Brock, Washonna Vance, Ja’Rae Vance, Christopher Gross, Chandler Gross, Chase Gross, Ronald Shaw, Jr., Jonathan Shaw, and Anita (Anthony) Sambuca; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and church family. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
