Obituary for Mrs. Peggy Jo Jessee Piedmonte Mrs. Peggy Jo Jessee Piedmonte, age 85, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at First United Methodist Church. Reverend Lanita Monroe will officiate.

Burial will be in Warrenton Cemetery in Warrenton, Virginia later in the week. Eastern Star Service will be 1 PM Sunday at the church, with visitation to follow until service time at 3 PM. The youngest of eight children, she was born September 6, 1932, in Wise, Virginia, to the late Stuart Simon Jessee, Sr. and Pearl Adeline Hutchinson Jessee.

She was retired from the Department of the Army, Warren Training Center, after 27 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Piedmonte.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Powers, of Wise, Virginia; a nephew, Paul (Nadine) Hopkins; great niece, Lori Schuler; great nephew, David (Adah) Hopkins, and great great nieces, Alex Schuler and Caroline Hopkins.
