Brooks, age 78, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, in Rowlett, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1940 in Sweetwater, Texas to Harmon and Tommie (Hendrix) Sharp.

She Married Eddie Eugene Brooks in Comanche on March 27, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1977. She was an Allstate Claims Representative for 10 years in Dallas.

She is survived by her two daughters: Donna Daye Brooks and husband Steve Nelson of Royse City; Tammy Lee Hendricks of Oklahoma; son, Tim and wife Tammy Brooks of Rockwall; grandchildren: Ashlyn Gooden, Jaron and wife Victoria Garoutte, Carson Brooks, Connor Brooks and Jessica Hendricks; great-grandchildren: Harper Lynn, Ellisyn Elaine and Annabel Jean; one sister, Judith Smitherman of Oklahoma; seven brothers: Richard Sharp of Texas; Mike Sharp of Oklahoma; Jimmy Sharp of Oklahoma; Jack and wife Donna Sharp of Las Vegas, NV; Tom and wife Bobbie Sharp of Oklahoma; Clinton and wife Nadine Sharp of Oklahoma; Bill Sharp of Oklahoma; cousin, Leo Ray Hendrix of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Sharp and two sisters: Carole Kirkpatrick and Barbara Wilson.
