Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Wolf Valley Cemetery in Brown County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch will be at the May Community Center following the graveside service.

Dobson St., Burleson, Texas 76028. C.N. “Butch” Allen, age 74, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019, in Burleson, Texas. He was born on April 23, 1944, in Gustine, Texas, to J.D. and Myrtle (Cathey) Allen.

On June 1, 1963, he was united in marriage to his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Jean Lancaster in Gustine, Texas. She preceded him in death in 2013. Butch worked as a general contractor.

He had a story for everyone regardless of whom they were and he never met a stranger. He was Texan through and through from his walk to his talk. He was a beloved Dad, Grandpa, uncle, and brother.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He’s now joined the love of his life. He is survived by son, Thom Allen and spouse, John Lindsay, of Plano, Texas; daughter, Rebecca Cole and husband, Ronny, of Burleson, Texas; granddaughter, Cassidy Cole of Denton, Texas; sister, Judy Westfall of Gustine, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Myrtle Allen; two brothers, Paul Allen and Bobby Allen; three sisters, Billie Gunter, Shirley Slaughter, and infant sister, Nancy Jane Allen.
