Obituary for Lillian Southern Arledge Lillian Owens Southern Arledge, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home. Born April 24, 1931, in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Annie Lou McCarson Owens. Lillian was retired from White Oak Estates.

Survivors include her husband, Ancil Ray Arledge; daughter, Loretta Ann Hawkins (James) of Duncan, SC; sons, William Southern, Jr. of Lumberton, NC and Eddie Southern (Lynn) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Joe, Shannon, Aaron, Anna Southern, and Kristina Robertson; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Harvey Southern, Sr.; two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be 1:30–2:45 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Fairforest Church of God, with funeral services following at 3:00 PM, conducted by The Rev.

John Petty. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307.
