Linda Bates November 25, 1944 – May 05, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Graveside service for Linda Bates will be at 11:00 am Friday, May 10, 2019 in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Pastor Willie Shaw, Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6pm until 7:30pm at the funeral home.

Linda Bates, 74 of Snyder passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Snyder. She was born November 25, 1944 in Honey Grove, Texas to Perry and Hattie Clark. She married Curtis W. Bates on August 8, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma.

He passed away April 22, 2013. She and Curtis ran the Dairyland in Snyder for many years and owned and operated the Mountain Park Café until their retirement in July of 1999. Linda loved her family dinners and sitting around the table, she enjoyed quilting and watching her soap operas.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all her family and friends. Survivors include her children; Wayne and wife Carla Bates of Snyder, Dyann and husband Randy Stanley of Snyder, Dale and wife Lorretta Bates of Kentucky, special daughter-in-law Shellie Bates of South Carolina, grandchildren; Roy Sweeden and wife Desi of Madill, Oklahoma, Michael Sweeden of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tyler Bates of South Carolina, Collyn Bates of South Carolina, Kassie Bates of Snyder and Matthew Stanley of Lawton. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Callie.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 11 brothers and sisters and granddaughter Caitlin Bates.
