Powell, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at CMC-Union. She was born in Anson County on March the 17th, 1941 to the late Edward and Magdalene Bowers Kearney. She was retired from Rock-Tenn of Marshville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Bobby Joe Powell and two sisters: Carole Lane and Daphne Kearney. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church Survived by her three sons: Samuel Mark Powell and his wife Troyanne of Monroe, Barry Joseph Powell of Olive Branch, and Neil Anthony Powell and his wife Leah of Wadesboro. She is also survived by her loving companion, David Mark of Peachland, brother Dennis Kearney and his wife Anita of Patrick, SC. , and two sisters: Mrs. Pat Baker of Peachland and Mrs. Marie Cooper and her husband Tim of Waxhaw; 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
