Linda Trisch, 68, of Belvidere, IL passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 in her home. Linda was born December 5, 1949 in Rockford, IL daughter of Marvin and Dolores (Lathom) Jackson. She married John Roger Hornsby on June 20, 1968.

Roger was killed in action on March 8, 1969 in Viet Nam. She later married Michael Trisch in August of 1971. Linda was a 1967 graduate of West High School and also attended Western Illinois University and Rockford University.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed… Read More » old movies, old time radio shows, fishing, racquet ball, boating on the Mississippi River and camping. The last six years, Linda and Mike have wintered at their Sun Lakes, Arizona home where Linda was a member of the Lady Niners golf league. She loved each of her dogs in life and made a positive impact on countless puppies during the 10 years she assisted at B&B’s puppy classes.

Linda will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Mike; brother, Steve (Carole) Jackson; sister, Julie Jackson; “aunt” Cora (Tom) Levensky; brother-in-law, Tom (Sue) Trisch; several cousins, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Diane and Rosalie. Predeceased by her parents, Marv and Dolores; uncles, Bill and Paul Lathom and aunt, Christine.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Northern Illinois Hospice for their kindness, care and compassion. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 3 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108. Memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice or the Winnebago County Animal Services Auxiliary.
