Linda’s Obituary Linda Kirkland Goble, 72, of Hartsfield, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Cool Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce English and the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Richard Kirkland, Todd Kirkland, Ramsey English, Peyton English, Robert Grantham, Mickey Hatcher and David Lowe. Born October 29, 1946 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Esker M. Kirkland and Myrtle Lee Weems Kirkland.

Mrs. Goble was a homemaker, member of Cool Springs Baptist Church and a former member of the Moultrie Moose Lodge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Grantham; son-in-law, Brian Crosby; sisters, Helen Joiner, Margaret Simpson, Shirley Reddick, Kaye Lowe, Marjorie Kirkland and Glenda Harrell; brothers, Jimmy Kirkland, Bink Kirkland, Mike Kirkland, Ray Kirkland and Brooks Kirkland. Survivors include her husband, Willie McCoy “Bill” Goble of Hartsfield; daughters, Malissa English and Barry of Hartsfield; Malinda Corley and Mike of Bonaire GA; grandchildren, Jason Crosby and Paxton; Brooke Thompson and Jay; great-grandchildren, Slayde Thompson, Bryson Thompson, Rannie Thompson, Branch Crosby, Bennet Crosby; step-grandchildren, Eden English, Bowyn English and Merritt English; sister, Elizabeth Pelham of Sylvester; brothers, John Kirkland and Nora of Grand Ridge FL, Clarence Kirkland and Rachel Tallapoosa GA, Gary Kirkland of Albany and other family members.

The family will receive friends from 3:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday at Cool Springs Baptist Church. The family may be contacted at 221 Hartsfield Road, Hartsfield Ga.
