Obituary for Linda L. Corby Dateline: Dow, IL Linda L. Corby, 77, died at 1:13 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 30, 1940 in Alton the daughter of the late James and Cora (Gaither) Corby. She retired from the Cliff Side Inn in Godfrey.

Linda lived for her family and treasured the time she had with them. Surviving are three sons, Bill Corby of Dow, Jim Corby of Dow, daughter in law, Connie Corby of Dorsey, and Mike Corby (Chris) of Bunker Hill, six grandchildren, Judson Corby (Barbara), Joshua Corby, Lauren Corby, Erin Corby, Jordan Corby and Trae Corby, two great grandchildren, Kolton Corby and Charlee Corby and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Lee Corby, two brothers, James Corby and John Corby and one sister, Patricia Hutchinson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where a memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 with Pastor Jim Kiel officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to 2nd Chances Church in Godfrey.
