Obituary for Linda Lee Woods (Watson) Gaffney — Mrs. Linda Lee Woods, 68, of 104 Castle Court, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Hickory Grove, she was the widow of Dennis Woods and the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Watson. Linda previously worked for Cherokee County Home Health and was of the Baptist faith.

She loved yard sales, collecting antiques, and spending time with her family. Surviving Mrs. Woods are one son, Charles Woods, and special friend, Wendy Phillips, of Blacksburg; one daughter, Patricia Woods, of Inman; the mother of her grandchildren, Wendy Woods, of Boiling Springs, SC; three grandchildren, Tyler Woods and girlfriend, Elizabeth Kirby, of the home, Matthew Woods, and Kali Spivey, both of Boiling Springs; two that she considered as grandchildren, Kalie Scruggs and husband, Clay, of Gaffney and Hunter Gibson of Blacksburg; one great-grandchild, Asher Scruggs, of Gaffney; a sister, Brenda Williams, of Hickory Grove; and a brother, Frank Watson, of Clover. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Watson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, 25th of November, 2018, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. Graveside services will he held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Tyler Woods, Matthew Woods, Parker Hannah, Dylan Ramsey, Caleb George, and Johnny Watson will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the residence. The Book of Memories is available at www.
