Linda’s Obituary Linda Sue (Curp) Whitney Linda Sue Whitney, age 70, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at her home. Linda was born the daughter of the late Ira Lee and Wanetta Eunice (Needles) Curp in Chillicothe, Missouri. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda was a dear friend, she developed many friendships across the United States over the years due to the many residences Bruce and Linda had. Linda worked as a self-employed transcriptionist and was very active in various ministries at all the churches she attended, serving for the last 22 years at Erlanger Baptist. Linda was also an avid tennis player.

Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bruce Whitney; four children, Teresa (Brian) Harrington, Jennifer (Courts) Jetton, Christina Preston, and Brian Whitney; nine grandchildren, Michael Harrington, Ashley Harrington, Mackenzie Harrington, Whitney Jetton, Grant Jetton, Faith Jetton, Luke Jetton, Jaidon Preston, and Josephina “Josie” Preston; five siblings, Mary Jo Gastineau, Shirley Hicks, Bob (Brenda) Curp, Jerry (Wanda) Curp, and Jimmy (Barb) Curp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Donald Lee Curp; nephew, Brad Curp; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Beverly Curp; and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Jo Hicks and Bill Gastineau. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 12 noon.

A scheduled visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 31, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will be held at Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The International Mission Board for the First Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
