Obituary for Linda Sue Waggoner (Pollock) Print Linda Sue Waggoner went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday January 30, 2019. Sue was born November 25, 1940 in Kansas to Eugene Ray and Juanita (Moore) Pollock. She Married the love of her life, David Waggoner on February 7, 1958 in Hazelton, Kansas.
Sue loved spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed gardening, cooking for large crowds, which included her large church family. Her homemade Chicken and Noodles and German Chocolate cake were always a favorite. If you were lucky enough to sample her cooking, you were not disappointed.
She loved sporting events and was a great supporter of the Menard Yellowjackets. Sue was a devoted wife; she and David were a true love story that will never end. They spent very little time away from one another, which was only when they worked.
Not only were they husband and wife, they were best friends. Sue was very passionate about her family and had a never-ending bragging ability for her 13 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren, being so proud of each one of them. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, David Waggoner, 2 sons; Danny Waggoner and wife June of Menard, Rick Waggoner and wife Kim of Satanta, Kansas, 2 daughters; Tammy Hamill of Canon City, Colorado, and Brandi Stapleton and husband Bart of Punta Gorda, Florida.
13 grandchildren; Jason Groth/ wife Sandra, Justin Groth/wife Krista, Nikki Gregory/husband Josh, Cody Waggoner/wife Morgan, Mark Waggoner, Travis Waggoner/wife Leslie, Casey Waggoner, Chylar Waggoner, Brandon Waggoner, Crystal Jackson/husband Aaron, Jadon Stapleton/Shelby, Craig Stapleton/Katie and Sierra Stapleton. 15 great-grandsons and 16 great-granddaughters. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Linda LaRae Waggoner, son-in-law Tim Hamill and 2 brothers, Gene and Jim Pollock.
