Linda Todd Geddings, 68, returned to her heavenly home on September 8, 2018. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and friend and will be greatly missed. Her faith in God carried her through her recent battle with cancer and gave her peace.

Linda was born to the late Arthur Woodrow Todd and Verlie Casselman Todd, in Darlington, South Carolina on December 7, 1949. She graduated from Columbia High School in 1968. She worked for many years at Owen Steel and retired from Medical Services of America (MSA).

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Samuel W. Geddings; her beloved children: Michael W. Meadows Geddings (Cheryl), Richard B. Meadows (Ryan), Russell “Rusty” Geddings (Debbie), Wayne E. Geddings (Stacy), Marlie F. Bowers (Raz), and Teresa V. Quick (Dan); and 17 grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Oneal Casselman, Levon Todd, Mary Todd Nance, and Arthur “AW” Todd. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington.

The family will greet guests immediately following the service. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the CSR Unit at Providence Hospital and of Heartstrings Hospice for the wonderful care and love given to Linda.
