Obituary for Lisa Diane Kilby Adams Lisa D. Kilby Adams, 48, found peace in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. Lisa is the daughter of her late father, Jerald Scott Kilby and mother, Dean Wright Kilby. Lisa was very talented and artistic.

She made many beautiful quilts and enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and other crafts. Lisa loved the beach. Some Lisa’s best memories were of walking on the beach with her grand-daddy, Lawrence Wright, and watching the sunrise.

Lisa also graduated with an Associates of Applied Science degree majoring in office administration technology with a concentration in the medical office, Summa Cum Laude, with honors. In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by her grand-daddy, Lawrence Wright. Those left to cherish Lisa’s memory include her children, Joshua and Catherine Adams; two grandchildren, Maverick Greene and Jeralyn Adams; mother, Dean Wright Kilby; brother, Richard Kilby and wife, Lorie; fiancé, Michael Norton; grandmother, Margaret Wright; special aunt, Charlotte Cross; several cousins, nieces, and aunts.

Special thanks to her cousin, Greg Cross. The family will gather to greet friends on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Lisa’s Life at Tetrick Funeral Services of Johnson City, with Pastor Robert Keller and Minister Terry Barnett officiating. Special music will be by Larry Wright and Jenna Carol.
