Obituary for Marjorie E. Trent Marjorie E. Trent, 81, of Johnson City passed away peacefully, Friday, June 29, 2018 at NHC Healthcare. She was a native of Piney Flats and daughter of the late George M. and Helen Scott Pealer In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her brother Roy Pealer, and her sisters: Marie Kerley, Mattie Boyd, Mae Dean Curde, She was a loving wife and mother. Marjorie was a member of The Brick Christian Church in Watauga, where she served as church secretary.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with her family. Those family members left to cherish Marjorie’s memory include her loving husband of sixty one years, Robert G. Trent, her son, Danny R. Trent and his wife Pam, her brother, Bruce Pealer, sisters: Mitty Loveless, Clata Fisher, Nell Hyder; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie’s family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at NHC Health Care for the loving care that they provided.

The family will gather to greet friends to share memories on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am until a Celebration of Marjorie’s Life at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services Johnson City with Pastor Ernie Depew, and Pastor Gerald Holley officiating. A Graveside and Committal Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
