Obituary for Steve Morris Mr. Steve Morris, age 71, of Bluff City, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at his home. He was a son of the late J.W. and Marion Virginia Eads Morris and was born in Bluff City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Morris.
Mr. Morris was self-employed as a contractor. He was a NASCAR fan, an avid coin collector who enjoyed camping and his dog, Mollie. He was of the Christian Faith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty years, Brenda Morris of the home; a son, Scott Morris (Edwina); two grandchildren, Alexandria Morris, Heath Morris; a sister, Elaine Good (Jimmy); three brothers, Charles Morris (Leona); Bobby Morris (Martha); Phillip Morris (Karen); and a sister-in-law, Faye Morris. Several special nieces, nephews and other special sisters-in-law also survive. A service to honor the life of Mr. Morris will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018, in Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City Chapel with Mr. Roland Whittemore and Rev.
Frank Osborne officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday prior to the service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in the Shell Cemetery in Piney Flats.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Morris, Mark Hensley, Doug Wells, Mark Farr, Frank Eads and Argile Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Salanoa, Aaron Salanoa, Ben Skeen, Neal Wells and Spike Good. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 9:50 AM on Tuesday.
