Obituary of Lisa Calderwood Lisa Ann Calderwood, 54, of State College, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born January 6, 1964, in Tyrone, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Lou Shanafelt Calderwood. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three siblings, Robert “Bob” Calderwood of Milesburg, Kerry Calderwood and his wife, Marcy, of Altoona, and Susan Calderwood Baker of State College; two nieces, Katie Baker and Deanna Calderwood; a nephew, Jeremey Calderwood, and the staff at Strawberry Fields who became her family during the thirty years she was with them.

Lisa graduated from State College Area High School. She was a member of The Clubhouse at Strawberry Fields and served as a Peer Counselor to others who she loved helping. Lisa loved animals and used art and writing to express herself.

The following poem was written by Lisa: I may not be here in body anymore, But I am everywhere you see freedom. Whether it be an eagle soaring or a butterfly landing on your nose, Remember me not for my deceased body, But for my laugh, my smile, my heart, most of all the love I had for all of you. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Tyrone.
