Obituary of Patricia Ishler Patricia A. Ishler, 86, of State College, died Thursday, September 6, 2018, at home. Born March 20, 1932, in Ferguson Township, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. and Grace Ellen Shuey Ishler. She is survived by her niece, Ruth Ann Snyder and her fiancée, John Hardison of Vero Beach, FL; Two great-nephews, Michael Giambalvo and his wife, Alyssa of Schuylerville, NY, William Giambalvo and his wife, Alisha of Allen, TX and two great-great nephews, Matthew Giambalvo (NY) and Nicholas Giambalvo (TX).

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sara Jane Snyder; and her companion, John C. DeVine. Patricia graduated from State College High School in 1950. She was a budget clerk at Penn State University for over thirty years, until her retirement in 1991.

Patricia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was an active volunteer for many years. A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 205 S Garner St, State College, with Pastor Scott Schul officiating. Burial will be private in Meyer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The American Diabetes Association or Grace Lutheran Church in memory of Patricia A. Ishler. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College. Online condolences and signing of the guestbook may be entered at www.
