Lloyd Edward Willis December 15, 1935 – June 17, 2018 Lloyd Edward Willis, 82, residing in Sandusky, was called by our heavenly Father on Father’s Day, June 17, 2018, while worshipping in the House of the Lord at Zion Lutheran Church. Lloyd was born on December 15, 1935 in Greenup, KY to the late George William and Maude Mae (Stone) Willis. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Sandusky Eagles. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, gambling, hunting, playing horseshoes, reading his Bible, looking at pictures and telling stories. Lloyd had a very giving heart and was generous to friends, family and strangers alike.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Debi Willis Myrice of Sandusky; step-daughters, June (Harry) Kresser, Gail (Drew) Pullano, Sandra Uhl all of Sandusky; Melody (Steve) Lasnoski of Bayview and Karen Saldana of Columbus; many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Carter) Johnson of Wheelersburg, OH, Virginia (Ralph) Johnson of MN and Sandra Rigsby of FL; brothers, Gary Willis and Michael (Kim) Willis both of AZ and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and best friend, Cleo Doanld. In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis J. (Moore) Willis; daughters, Terry and Angie; sons, Mark and Raymond; second wife, Wilma J. (Canfield) Greene Willis; step-daughter, Brenda Calderon; step-grandson, Leo Calderon, sister, Sharon Blakely and brothers, Raymond W., Richard and Robert Willis.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 am. Pastor Ken Hiser of Faith Memorial will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Those wishing to contribute to Lloyd’s memory may do so to the American Heart/Stroke Association, 1375 E. 9th St #600, Cleveland, OH 44114.
