Ronald H. Ruggles, 76, Sandusky, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was born in Sandusky on December 27, 1941 and was a U.S. Army veteran. Ronald was employed by the former New Departure Hyatt, and was a supporter of the Humane Society and helped with the Samaritan Purse.

He is survived by his brother, George (Colena) Ruggles, Sandusky; sister, Ruth Scates, Elyria, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Naomi (Ehman) Ruggles; and a sister, Dolores Gearhart. Friends may call on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave.

, Sandusky. Rev. John Adams of New Life Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, where the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will hold military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences and gifts of sympathy may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
