Dorsey: Lois A. Fry, 96, passed away and went to be with the Lord at 5:50pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Robings Manor in Brighton. She was born on September 9, 1921, in Alton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Tessie (Gibson) Minor. She married Ed Fry on June 21, 1957, in Alton, and he preceded her in death on August 25, 1990.

Survivors include two step sons: Richard Fry of Richmond, Virginia, Darrel Fry and his wife: Hilda of Columbia, Missouri, several grandchildren, several… Read More » great grandchildren, her nephew and niece: Jim and Kelly Fulkrod of Dorsey, her niece and nephew: Nancy and the Rev. Dennis Myers of Fennville, Michigan, her longtime companion: Jake Bienemann, and many other extended and friends. Lois was formerly employed in the office at the mold shop.

She worked as the finance secretary for the Free Methodist Church Headquarters. She worked at Dale Neudecker State Farm. Lois and her husband worked as distributors for Shaklee.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a step daughter: Roberta Priham, a step son: Harold Fry, three sisters: Esther Schuetz, Ruth Sanders, and Leah Fulkrod. Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Wood – Davis Cemetery in Bunker Hill. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 1pm until time of funeral services at 2pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton.

Rev. Mark Scandrett will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the Restore Network, 3993 Fosterburg Road, Alton, Illinois 62002.
