Obituary for Lois Ann Baumer Lois Ann Baumer, 89, passed away November 14, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN, during a gorgeous sunset. She was born April 4, 1929 in Anderson, IN and lived there her entire life. She was a graduate of Anderson High School in 1947 and attended Madison Park Church of God.

Lois is survived by her husband Myron Baumer of Anderson, IN, her son Steven Baumer of Royal Oak, MI, and sister Mary Lou (Paul) Oakes of Saginaw, MI along with many nieces, nephews and their families. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Clara Wells and her sister Norma Jean Williams. She was an executive secretary for Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 9 years where she met Myron, the love of her life.

When her son Steven was born, Lois left General Motors for a career as a mother and homemaker. After her husband and son, Lois’ second love was attending Cincinnati Reds games. Yet another love was going to the Anderson High School Wigwam to watch her Indians play basketball games.

Myron and Lois played bridge each month with three other couples for many, many years. In particular, Lois enjoyed the bridge group’s trips together to Las Vegas, NV. She also enjoyed attending the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra with Myron.

Visitation will be held November 27, 2018 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St, Anderson IN from 10:30-11:30AM with a service to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. www.
