OBITUARY Lois Gaynell Hogan Ottinger December 3, 1940 – July 13, 2018 Lois Gaynell Hogan Ottinger, 77, of Greeneville, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. She retired from Berkline Industries in Morristown. Mrs. Ottinger was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where she served as an officer of the United Methodist Women.

After high school, she worked at F & P Drugstore. She loved to travel and had been to all fifty states, Canada and Mexico. She was a very good cook and loved to cook.

Mrs. Ottinger loved her family very much. Survivors include her husband of 58 years: Glendon Ottinger; a sister and brother-in-law: Wilma and Harold Ottinger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Sue Iva Hogan, Lloyd Ottinger, Nadine and Ross Holt, Shirley Ann Chandler, Alice Ottinger and Kathleen Ottinger; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the daughter of the late James and Alma Hutton Hogan and was preceded in death by brothers: Harry, Kyle and Fred Hogan; sister-in-law, Geraldine Hogan; brothers-in-law: Eldon, Richard, Borden, and Wayne Ottinger; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Basil and Annie Ottinger.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-7 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Rev.

John Grimm and Rev. Jim Fain will officiate. Interment will be 11 am Monday at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service. Pallbearers will be Bill Ball, Brian Starnes, Bill Correll, Travis Correll, Ricky Campbell, Jeremy McKinney, and Chris Combs. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Pine Grove UM Church.
