Obituary for Mrs. Lois May Garsick Lois May Garsick,75, (Nee: Reinarsten) of Freehold entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 5, 2018 with her family by her side. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years Joseph, loving children Dean, Kim Mazza and her husband Brian, cherished granddaughters Corie and Jamie Mazza. Her sister-in- law Doris Reinarsten, One niece and two nephews.

Lois’ brother Norman Reinarsten pre-deceased her. Lois was born in Irvington, NJ the daughter of Otto and Hazel. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School she married Joseph and raised a family.

Joe and Lois owned South Pine Deli in South Amboy and she also worked in different areas, one of them being for the NJ Housing Authority. Lois loved helping people and animals, but above all nothing was more precious than her granddaughters Corie and Jamie. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

Lois and Joe spent all their time together, they shared a perfect life. The funeral will be conducted from the Kurzawa Funeral Home; 338 Main St, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10 AM, A funeral mass will follow at 11 AM St. Thomas the Apostle Church 333 NJ-18, Old Bridge, NJ 08857 with burial at Shoreland Memorial Gardens in Hazlet, NJ. Friends may pay their respect to the family on Thursday from 2 PM – 4 PM, 7 PM-9 PM and Friday morning from 9 AM.
