Obituary for Lola Faye (Golden) Latham Gone from our sight, but living on in our heart, Lola Fay (Golden) Latham, age 92, passed away in Longview, Texas on December 12, 2018. She was born on November 9, 1926 in Polk County, Texas to Marion and Lollie B. (Byrum) Golden. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sammy P. Latham; her parents, Marion and Lollie Golden; her sisters, Margaret, Hazel, Louise, Frances and Geneva.

She is survived by her son, Don Fields and his wife, Shirley; her daughter, Lavon Fields; her step-daughter, Carolyn Duncan and her husband, Joe; her sister, Ima Jean Stevenson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends who were blessed by her friendship. Lola Faye loved to crochet and loved her grandchildren. She had an impeccable work ethic and had spent time as a welder on a ship and had also worked as a waitress and in a sewing factory.

The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and Treviso Transitional Care for the love and care given to Lola during this time of illness.
