Age 83 of Piketon, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home. She was born April 2, 1935 in Scioto County to Clifton O. and Minnie (Pinson) Kent. Loreta was a graduate of Stockdale High School.

Her greatest loves were sewing and raising her family. She was a member of Waits Baptist Church. Loreta is survived by her sons, Steve (Brenda) Fields of Piketon, Ronald Fields of the Philippines; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Fields in 2013; brothers, Norman and Lowell Kent; sisters, Velma Kent, Nancy Bennett, and Naomi Adams. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Larry Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Online condolences may be shared at www. DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
