Lorraine Hale, 76, of Herrin, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Burial will be held at a later date in Willowrest Cemetery in Carterville. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Lorraine was born January 15, 1943, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, to Donald and Gladys (Foster) Wilsoncroft. She married Donald D. Hale and together they have shared 57 wonderful years. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Hale of Herrin and brother, Nelson (Dorothy) Wilsoncroft of Curvensville, Pennsylvania.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lester and Donald Wilsoncroft; and sister, Mona Lomadue. She enjoyed knitting, playing solitaire and other board games and watching TV.
