Obituary for Lory Faye Jones OBITUARY Faye Smith Jones, 75, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Faye was born June 17, 1943 in Savannah, Ga. to the late Dannie B. and Dorothy H. Smith of Ellabell, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Randy Stacy Jones and Alan Keith Jones. Faye, as a young child, had a desire to be a school teacher and fulfilled that dream and graduated from Georgia Southern College in Statesboro,Ga with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a dedicated teacher for many years having taught at various grade levels 1-7 throughout her career.

She had a passion for teaching and was a positive role model for all of her many students. She was selfless in her dedication, love, and commitment to her family. Her example of sweetness and Christian spirit will forever be an example to all of those that knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Randall H. Jones; daughter, Lori M. Waters; grandaughters Allison Waters, Ashley Waters, Amber Waters; grandson Randall Bolick and two great grandchildren, Jaycee and Avery; sister Virginia Lockeridge along with many others in her extended family. A memorial service will be held December 11th, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, Ga. with Rev Skeeter Thompson officiating.
