Louis Robert Pisano, 48 years old, of Agawam, MA died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Louis was born in Springfield, MA, the third son of Richard E. Pisano Sr. and Patricia (Scarnici) Goulet. His early childhood years were spent in Agawam and Springfield before moving to Westfield where he resided before returning to Agawam.

Louis was a graduate of Cathedral High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communications at Westfield State College. He was most recently employed in the customer service industry where he was valued for his friendly and honest manner by his employer and customers alike. Known to his family and friends as Louie, he always had a smile and a kind word for all and would graciously assist anyone in need.

Louie was a gentle soul who lived his life believing in the goodness of others. Louie’s real passion was for film and collectibles. He was the co-author along with Michael A. Smith of “Jaws 2: The Making of the Hollywood Sequel”, a labor of love honoring his all-time favorite film franchise “Jaws”.

Lou and his former wife, Dianna Rubino Pisano created documentary fan films under the banner YannaLou Productions. He was a pioneer in creating a worldwide community of Jaws aficionados as evidenced by the recent outpouring of condolences via social media. He was an animal lover especially devoted to his cat, a loyal fan of Def Leppard and an enormous devotee of the Buffalo Bills.

Louis is survived by his father and step-mother, Richard and Virginia Pisano of Westfield MA, his surviving brother Richard E. Pisano Jr. (Teresa) of Cleveland Tennessee, his step-sister Alyssa Preston Regul of Los Angeles California, and his former wife Dianna Rubino Pisano of Springfield Massachusetts. He also leaves two nieces, two nephews, four great nieces and nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will greatly miss him. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Scarnici Goulet, his stepfather Ronald Goulet and his brother, Michael T. Pisano.

Calling hours are from 9am-11am on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME,1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield MA followed by a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dakin Humane Society at www. dakinhumane.org.
