Louis Wayne Woolfolk, 65, went on to Glory on Jan. 29, 2019 at St. Anthony Hospice in Henderson. He was a native of Providence, KY where he graduated from Providence High School.

Louis was an instructor at Earle C. Clements Job Corps for many years. He had a talent for carpentry and took pride in his work at Harold’s Hardwood Floors. He retired from Tyson Foods after 20 years of service.

Louis loved to hunt and fish. He was a gifted grill master who was especially known for his mutton and roast pig. Cooking for his friends and at large family gatherings brought Louis great joy.

Louis was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church since childhood. Louis was preceded in death by his parents: Minnie and Virgil Woolfolk; siblings: Osie Broady, Paula Franklin, Everett Woolfolk, Larry Woolfolk, Joyce Belle, and Sandra Battle. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 8 years: Sandra Woolfolk; children: Missy Walton (Kevin), Leteisa Butler (Kerry), Amesha Woolfolk, Amber Woolfolk; siblings: Shirley Young , Revella Brooks (Calbert), Shelia Hawkins (Bobby), Valerie Hyde (James); 9 grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
