Louise Bowman, 83 formerly of Wetumka passed away on September 20, 2018 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born on November 3, 1934 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Henry and Majorie (Thomason) Bowman. She attended Goffer Hill Schools until she transferred to Wetumka where she graduated.

Afterward, she attended Draughon Business College. Louise worked for B & W Supermarket and continued when it became Watson Grocery Store as a bookkeeper. Her grandchildren were her life, always her babies.

She… Read More » enjoyed working in her flower beds and planting strawberries. Being an animal lover, she loved birds and her dogs dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Sarah Bowman and Bryan Bowman, brothers David Bowman and Henry Bowman.

Louise is survived by her son Frank Bowman and wife Karen of Norman, grandchildren Adrieane Bowman, Melita Bowman, Valissa Bowman, great-grandchildren Ryan, Cole, Meleana, Frank, Blake, and Kadence, sister Joan Hill of Wetumka, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.
