Louise P. Bishop, 93, of McHenry, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Ohio County Hospital. She was born November 5, 1925 in Central City, Kentucky to the late Ellis Phelps and Irene Wilson Phelps. Mrs. Bishop retired as post master of the McHenry Post Office after nearly 30 years of service.

She enjoyed watching her squirrels, puzzle books, crocheting, and her family. Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bishop; one daughter, Brenda Bishop; one grandson, Robert E. “Robie” Easterling and one sister, Helen Hinkel. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son, Joseph (Pamela) Bishop of Cathedral City, California; two daughters, Veronica “Suzie” Bishop (Donald Hardesty) of Whitesville and Gwen (Timothy) Bryant of Hartford; nine grandchildren, Shannon Royal; Tony (Alison) Stevens; Veronda (Tristen) Bishop; Jeremie Easterling, Rylan Bishop; Melanie (Tim) Pauls; Elizabeth Bryant; Tim Bob Bryant and Toni (Sean) Childers; seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 19, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky.

Friends may visit with Mrs. Bishop’s family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www. danksfuneralhome.com.
