Obituary for Lucille S. Mitchell Frankfort – Lucille Sewell Mitchell, age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Frankfort. Services will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lisa Wood officiating.
Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Immanuel Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. service time on Saturday. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Frankfort, on December 17, 1926 to the late John Newton and Mary Lou True Sewell.
She was united in marriage to James Edward Mitchell, who also preceded her in death. She was a faithful and devoted member of Immanuel Baptist Church, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Hiram #93. Above all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family and grandchildren dearly.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edna Dalton, Helen Ratliff, John W. Sewell, Jesse Sewell, and Ben Sewell. She is survived by her children, Linda M. Price (John), Jamie M. Tucker (Roy), and Paul Mitchell; grandchildren, Graham Tucker (Bernadette), Michael Price (Alison), Steven Tucker (Tiffany), Karen Price Kraster, and Nathan Tucker (Emily); great-grandchildren, Kiersten Zimmerman, Justin Tucker, Ella Price, Ford Tucker, Luke Price, Pierce Tucker, and Bonnie Tucker. She was also blessed with special niece and nephews, Janice Gentry, Raymond Dalton, and Morris L. Dalton.
Serving as pallbearers will be Graham Tucker, Steven Tucker, Nathan Tucker, Michael Price, Roy Tucker and John Price. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Flowers are welcome and expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kathleen Hutchins Infant Re Center at Immanuel Baptist Church.
