Lynn Warner Campbell, age 89, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Lee County, NC on October 17, 1928 to the late Watson Campbell and Victoria Warner Campbell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Thomas Campbell; son Douglas Campbell; brothers Robert, Charles and Carl Campbell; and sister Dot Thomas.

Mr. Campbell was a tobacco farmer and member of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church. He served our country in the United States Army and enjoyed cabinetry work making cabinets. He is survived by son Roger Campbell and wife Barbara of Sanford; grandchildren Heather Campbell & husband Chris, Jessica Hodges and husband Stephen, Brian Campbell, Megan Campbell, Jake Campbell; and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 18th at 2:00 PM at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Fallon Melvin officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, 1809 Poplar Springs Church Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
