Mary Frances Lemons Frye, age 86, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital. She was born in Lee County on November 26, 1931 to the late Russell Lemons and Gertrude Holder Lemons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Everett Brooks “Cap” Frye; sister Geneva Lemons Matthews; an infant brother and a great-granddaughter Valorie Hutchens.

Mrs. Frye was a member of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church and owned and operated – along with her family – State Exterminating Company. She is survived by three children; Brooks Frye Jr., Kip Frye and Gaye Freeman all of Sanford; grandchildren Bobby Charles Hutchens Jr. and wife Amanda Neal Hutchens, William Brooks “Bud” Frye, Sr., Allison Freeman Willis; great-grandchildren Bud Frye Jr., Hunter James Frye, Zachary Hutchens, Wyatt Hutchens, Ava Hutchens and Sophia Freeman. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

The service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Dale officiating. Burial will follow at Summer Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage, NC.
