Rickey Cameron Morrison, age 69, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Rickey was born in Lee County on April 27, 1949 to the late Rufus Cameron Morrison and Frances Jordan Morrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Morrison and a brother, Jimmy Morrison.

He was retired from Heritage Concrete. He is survived by his wife, Delores “Flossie” Morrison; two daughters, Rita Matthews and husband, Justin of Carthage; Kristie Morrison of Sanford; one brother, Rodney Morrison and wife, Kathryn of Fayetteville and four grandsons, James Edward Thomas, Rickey Jordan Thomas, Kincaid Cameron Stone and Avery Samuel Stone. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at Turner’s Chapel Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Kevin Stone officiating.
