Ruth Wooten McMahon, age 82, of Vass, NC, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her sister’s home. She was born in Hoke County, NC on December 28, 1935 to the late Archie Dean Wooten and Mazie Simpson Wooten. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Mrs. McMahon was a medical assistant for rehabilitation centers. She is survived by children Patrick and Laurette McMahon, Jane and Rodger Edmisten, Mary Ann and David Sharaffa, Donna McMahon; grandchildren Karie Richards, Ryan McMahon, Theresa McMahon, Kyle O’Brien; nine great-grandchildren and sisters Mildred Seagroves and Maryl McCleney. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Mt.

Pleasant Christian Church with Rev. Raymond Campbell officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in the church cemetery.
