Matthew Justin Sharpe, age 33, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home. He was born in Lee County on November 5, 1984 to Julie Herring Sharpe and Ray Sharpe. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Luther Herring and Gilbert Sharpe.

Justin served his country in the US Army. Justin is survived by his mother, Julie Herring Sharpe; his father, Ray Sharpe; a sister, Jessica Crowder and husband, Michael of Sanford; maternal grandmother, Janice Herring of Sanford; paternal grandmother, Edna Sharpe of Broadway and by his two nephews, Owen and Tanner Crowder. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM with Dr. Gary McCollough officiating. Burial will be held in Lee Memory Gardens.
