She lived in Brick, NJ and was a member of Osbornville Baptist Church in Brick. She was born on May 18, 1949 in Woodbury, NJ to Harry D. Lore and Mary Jane (Schlagel) Lore.

She is survived by her husband Randall C. Long of 42 years and their son Christopher Long of Brick, NJ; her sister Joan (Lore) Courtney of Deptford, NJ; her brother Dennis Lore of Blackwood; her sister-in-law Carol Lore of Lindenwold, NJ and many nieces and nephews who she will greatly miss. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mary Jane Lore; her brothers Harry, Ronnie, and Walter Lore; her brother-in-law Jack Courtney; her sister’s-in-law Marguerite and Barbara Lore and her niece Linda Lore with whom she had a great relationship with. For 26 years she cared for the four Purrazzella children of Toms River; Matt, Catie, Amanda and Michael, who were a big part of her life and she loved dearly.

She always considered her life occupation was caring for others and her family. She did this by always putting others first. She was a great cook, and she used that skill to help others that were in need, or just using those skills to say to someone that you mattered, and you are cared about.

If you knew her you loved her, she was a great person to be around, and always cared about others. You will live in our hearts forever. You are now at rest my sweetheart, away from all the physical torments that you had to endure.

I look forward to seeing you again when it comes my time to be called home. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 11:00 am at the Osbornville Baptist Church, 366 Drum Point Road, Brick, NJ 08723.
