Ma’Kenzi Reign Jeffries May 13, 2016 – February 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Precious little Ma’Kenzi Reign Jeffries was born to parents Courtney Jeffries and D’Andre Hannah on May 13, 2016 and went home to be in the arms of Jesus while surrounded by her family on February 2, 2019. She was one of eight children – four brothers and three sisters. Her brother Darius Hannah preceded her in death.
Ma’Kenzi, affectionately known as “Moto” was a happy and loving child who meant the world to her family. She started crawling at six and a half months and when Ma’Kenzi turned one, she was pulling herself up. In spite of the many seizures that she experienced from time to time, she learned to love life.
Our special thanks go out to all of her therapists for the great work they did with helping Moto. She was excited when she recently learned how to say “Jeram’yah”. In the morning, she loved eating waffles and hash browns for breakfast and looked forward to going to school to see her teachers Mrs. YaYa and Ms. Julie, whom she adored.
During her brief 996 days here on earth, Ma’Kenzi learned to fill her home with so much love and joy. Ma’Kenzi and her nana-Andrea Jefferies had a special loving relationship. When she was home, you would find her playing in her kitchen with her doll baby, watching her favorite movie “Moana” or singing “Row, Row, Row Ya Boat”, which she loved singing.
The cutest thing happened when she would get in trouble Ma’Kenzi would cover her face as if nobody had seen her do wrong. She had the smile of an angel whose life was a beautiful gift to us and her love will live on in our hearts forever. Ma’Kenzi Reign Jefferies leaves to cherish her loving memory: mother – Courtney Jefferies and father – D’Andre Hannah; three sisters – Talaya Hernandez; Te’Andre Hernandez; KaLeah Hannah; three brothers – Jeramy’ah Curry; Jai’Den Jefferies; TeVawn Hernandez; maternal grandmother – Andrea Jefferies; paternal grandmother – Diana Hannah; grandfather – Christopher Batts; great grandmother – Freda Jefferies; god dad – Sonny Walker; two aunts – Brittany Jefferies and Tiffany Jefferies who is also her god mom; three uncles – Daniel Jefferies, Bobby Fisher and Chris Batts; and a host of cousins and friends.
Family visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
