Mabel V. Smith of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, NY. She was born in Blacksburg, VA, on October 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Furrow. Mrs. Smith moved to Sanborn in 1964.

She loved spending time and taking care of her family. She was the wife of the late Benjamin L. Smith, who passed away in April of 1971. Mrs. Smith is survived by three sons David (Heidi), Harvey and Benjamin (Helen) Smith, two daughters Violet (Ronald) Lucantonio and Mary (Jim) Salerno, also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Gene Smith and sister of the late Willard Furrow. Her family will be present on Friday from 2-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN,NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
