Mabel E. Brown Mabel E. Brown,85, of Tallmadge passed away November 25, 2018. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 11, 1933. Mabel graduated from Akron University and taught First Grade and Spanish in the Akron Public School System for 40 yrs.

She was a long time member and volunteer at St. Bernard Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving person. Mabel was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Brown; husband, John Richards who she cared for in his declining years; brothers, Frank Jr. and Joseph.

Mabel is survived by her sisters, Mary Allender and Margaret Smith; nieces, nephew and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Thursday at St. Bernard Church, 44 University Ave. , Akron 44308 where friends may call 9:15 until the time of service.

Private interment at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
