OBITUARY Mae “Tressie” Wyatt July 17, 1935 – January 2, 2019 Mae (Tressie) Olia Wyatt at the age of 83 fell asleep in death on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 9:58 a.m. with family at her bedside after battling the horrible disease Alzheimer’s. She was born July 17, 1935, in Haynesville, Louisiana to the late Will C and Lena Mae Hart. Mae received formal education in the Sikeston, Missouri School System.

In the mid-1950’s her family moved to Milwaukee, WI. Mae worked as a certified nurse’s assistant and later as a hospital unit clerk. She was known to keep the doctors and nurses on their toes.

Many knew Mae as “feisty, sassy, and spunky”. Mae loved to tease and have fun. She also had a serious love for the knowledge of God and dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 17, 1970.

She faithfully preached to others about a paradise soon to come. Mae was preceded in death by her husband John L. She leaves to cherish her precious memories children: Rosemary (Jerry) Rainer, Sydney and Samuel Wyatt. One grandchild Jordan Rainer.

One brother Robert (Governor) Hart. One brother-in-law Otis Lawrence, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 9 of her beloved siblings.

FAMILY Rosemary (Jerry) Rainer, Daughter Sydney Wyatt, Son Samuel Wyatt, Son John L. Wyatt, Husband Jordan Rainer, Grandson Robert (Governor) Hart, Brother Will C. and Jena Mae (Cheatom) Hart, Parents Leroy Hart, Brother Gertha Clay, Sister Alfred Hart, Brother Mandy Lue Hart, Sister William (Snook) Hart, Brother Earnestine Lawrence, Sister Orlean Johnson, Sister Palmer Hart, Brother Alice Faye (Nell) Jackson, Sister Mae also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
