Obituary of Marcella McKee Marcella Jo (Weaver) McKee, 80, Marion, received her eternal reward at 7:18 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was born in Gas City on August 23, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Joe and Ruth (Price) Weaver. Marcella married Billie McKee on October 7, 1956, and he survives with her dog, Sweetie.

Marcella was a lifelong resident of Grant County and a graduate of Mississinewa High School. She sold organs and taught at Kimball’s Music Store. She was a great cook and used this gift in the cafeteria at Evans Elementary School.

Marcella also worked as a cashier at Palmer’s Meat Market. She was a member at Liberty Baptist Church. She also enjoyed golfing, gardening, and flower arranging.

Remembered for her vivacious spirit and bubbly personality, Marcella was beautiful inside and out and had a heart of gold. She will also be remembered for her big smile, her laugh, and her love for people and the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She loved her family dearly. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Billie; children, Anthony (Pamela) McKee, Akron, Ohio, Troy (Karen) McKee, Marion, and Kimberly (Terry) Kindle, Converse; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Merrill (Shirley) Weaver, Gas City; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marigean Gallegos.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Marcella’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Liberty Baptist Church, 517 Church St., Sweetser. Pastor Terry Bishir will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.
